Family & Professional Conference

For many caring for a loved one with LGS, the opportunity to connect with others on a personal level has been a life-changing experience. Meeting face-to-face with others who understand may help families like yours gain strength and inspiration, and the LGS Foundation’s Family & Professional Conference is a great place to start.

About the Conference

Every 18 months, families and noted professionals from all over the country and around the world come together to discuss new developments in science and research and exchange information about resources and services that are available to LGS families. But most of all, it’s an opportunity for families to share their personal experiences with LGS.

With a special commitment to the epilepsy community and an understanding of how worthwhile attending the Family & Professional Conference can be, Lundbeck makes a scholarship available to families and caregivers of those with LGS who would like to attend the conference and need financial assistance. The LGS Foundation will select the scholarship recipients from the pool of applicants. Based on each recipient`s situation and individual needs, the Lundbeck scholarship may cover costs for travel, hotel accommodations, and/or conference registration fees for selected families. Keep a lookout on the LGS Foundation’s website  for information about the Lundbeck scholarship and how to apply.
